The adventures of the Brummers

Boxing Day Hangi

In true Kiwi tradition, we decided to have a hangi this year for xmas with Karen’s family.  It was our first time making a hangi, so things went surprisingly well.  We had all sorts of meat and veges cooked to perfection.  Below is the hangi when it has just been opened up.  We took loads of photos of the hangi, click here to see them. There was just so much good food.

Jiggy, Dre and Brian Moore here showing off their Moko’s.  Jiggy sat in the sun all day with his moko, and the next day he had a reverse moko – a photo of this is in the album you can click on above.

Xmas in NZ

 Picture 004.jpg

We went back to NZ for Xmas this year, and stayed the first 2 days with Dre’s mum (her xmas tree is above), and then drove down to Dre’s dad’s for 2 nights for xmas eve, and then back up to Anitas for xmas day.  Quite a mission, topped off by both of us getting food poisoning (don’t eat sushi from Shore City!!).  We didn’t get heaps of photos, but here are the few that we did get. Click here for photos.

More Fireworks

OK, yes, there are way too many photos of fireworks on this site!!  But the red fireworks reflecting in the clouds AND the harbour was just too good not to put on here.  And the pretty colours of the next ones….. yeah I know, I know, but if you don’t like them, don’t look!
