In the past week it has been a mixture of dramatic black skies, or blue cloudless skies and sunbathing on the balcony. We saw this when walking to Shelly Beach last Friday….the Shelly Beach sculpture with the sun shining on the black water, and thought it looked cool.

Still loving the awesome view we get from here, the APEC fireworks were probably the only good thing about APEC (apart from the public holiday!!)  but they were very cool, the best ones we just enjoyed and didn’t get any photos of, but here are a couple of them.

Above is the main bulk of our view which we see when sitting on the sofas in the lounge or watching TV (or watching the view!!) and below is the whole view from the balcony.

You really can’t get better than this…we have managed to score this top floor apartment with the best views in Manly!!  How stoked do you think we are?  And every night the sun sets right in front of us – its soooooo beautiful.  Anyone that came to stay at our last apartment would know that we had a decent view, well imagine that times 20 and add to the equation 180 degrees of water, and that’s what we’ve got now.  We get all day sun too, which is nice right now but will probably be a killer in summer!  A big thank you to our friends Iain and Sandra, who moved out of here, which allowed us to move in :-) .  Below is our normal evening view.
