Kitty Hawk Aircraft carrier

KittyHawk.jpg

This is a picture of the Kitty Hawk from our balcony (with the Manly Ferry beside it!) as she cruised out of Sydney Harbour.  This is the biggest aircraft carrier in the world and it was absolutely massive.  There were over 5000 crew onboard and the departure from Sydney harbour was not publicised for security, so we were very lucky to get this view!

Bondi – Coogee walk

The past few weeks we’ve done lots of Sydney touristy things, the most recent being the Bondi-Coogee walk which we were really impressed by.  We had been meaning to do it for ages but it was even better than we expected.  The rock formations and coastal cliffs were amazing.  We chose to do it in the afternoon/evening so that we’d get to see the sunset and also so it wasn’t as hot.  It was a lovely still day and we spent some time in the city afterwards as it was a clear night and so good to stop and appreciate Sydney’s harbour and waterfront.  If you want to see our photos click here.
