We have spent the past few days up at the Blue Mountains and it has been freezing! We got the clear photo on one of the clear moments at Peppers Resort, and then the misty photo was the beginning of the heavy thick mist. We did get a good view over the mountains but didn’t get a photo before the mist came in. At times we couldn’t see more than a couple of metres in front of us but it was really cool. A nice few days break away but still as always pleased to get back to lovely Manly.
We had a lovely time with Brian Moore and Vicky staying for a couple of days. We did the usual beachy stuff and fed lots of cockatoos! Now they won’t leave us alone again and we have to chase them off the balcony every day, but I’m sure they’ll learn again soon. Once we feed them they aren’t stupid and just keep coming back.

At 70% alcohol, this stuff is only legal to purchase in it’s country of origin, Czech Republic. We got our bottle when we were in Prague last year, and can report that yes, it’s pretty lethal! The traditional way to have this, er, delicacy, is to light it on fire, and then put a teaspoon of sugar on top to melt, and then stir the sugar in and shoot it back.
